I would be amiss to go about business as usual after this week brought us the sad news of the passing of Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett and Ed McMahon. I myself have been preoccupied the last few weeks with the cancer treatments of two of my family members. Life is short and the deaths of these people, reminds us of the important things in life. Grab the important things and cherish your friends and family. Things like what has happened this week hopefully will make us all better people.

This is just a clarification of how AST delivers traffic. We encourage AST members to have websites with NO popups as this delivers the most traffic and allows for hands free surfing. AutoSurfTraffic traffic was BLOWIN' smoke over the last week with more new surfers and more pages surfed than we have had for awhile. We also had an interesting trend. Besides the normal upgrades, we had a bunch of upgraded members upgrading to a higher level. Pro members were going Gold and a large number of Bronze members were going Associate upgrade. I can see why the Bronze members were upgrading to Associate as now they can have a banner rotating on the AST banner network. Banners are important because even though they don't pull in a lot of traffic to your site, they do pull in "Targeted" traffic to your site, which is important for conversion. The April 2009 contest will involve a weekly contest of surfing and the winner each week with an AST ranking of #1, #5, #10, #15, $20, #25, #30, #35, #40, #45 and #50 will receive extra bonus credits. So in April 2009, these surfers will be awarded 5k,4.5,4k,3.5k, 3k, 2.5k, 2k, 1.5k, 1k and 0.5k of traffic credits, respectively. The credits will be added to your account sometime in the 7 days after winning automatically.
